New Leaf Painting
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry the required level liability insurance.
What paint brands do you use?
We can use your preferred paint brand. For house painting our recommendation goes to Porter Paint and Sherwin-Williams. We often get requests to use Benjamin Moore, Behr, Devoe, Duron, Glidden, Pratt & Lambert, Martin Senor and specialty labels like Ralph Lauren. Call us to learn more about the quality and performance expectations for different brands.
For commercial projects we typically work with Imron, PPG, Tnemec and other high performance industrial coatings.
Are your painters legally qualified to work in the United States?
Yes! Every one of our painters are U.S. citizens or legal residents.
Can you do drywall or carpentry repairs?
We can work with you for carpentry or drywall repairs. Typical problems we repair are holes in drywall, water stained ceilings, rotted fascia and soffit.
Can you help with color recommendations?
Selecting colors can be a daunting task, especially with bright colors like yellows and reds. We can guide you through the process of selecting a color that suits your tastes and lifestyle.
What About Environmental and Health Concerns?
The current trend is to use paints that have little to no volatile organic compounds (low VOC paint). These new paints minimize the chances of nausea, dizziness or headaches from paint fumes. We recommend paints which have scored well on Consumer Reports’ reviews such as Sherwin-Williams’ Harmony Series.
Are you EPA approved?
Yes. We are approved by the EPA and authorized to work on painted structures built before 1978. This means that we know how to handle situations where we encounter existing coats of lead based paints.
